Deliciously sweet and crunchy, candied nuts are perfect for sprinkling over pancakes, porridge, cakes and more. And I’m going to show you how to make them quickly and easily, in under 10 minutes!
Candied nuts can be one of those fabulous, versatile little snacks that can be eaten on their own, or added to another dish to take it to the next level. I’ve candied walnuts in this recipe, but it works just as well for making candied pecans. Walnuts and pecans both have lots of little places for the sugar to stick to and caramelise, making them both perfect for my Easy Candied Nuts.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Q. Why did my candied nuts turn out too sticky?
A. They weren’t cooked long enough -make sure the sugar has melted and turned golden.
Q. Can I use other nuts?
A. Yes, but smooth nuts won’t hold the candy coating as well
Q. Can I add other flavours to candied nuts?
A. Yes, cinnamon is a lovely addition and can be added along with the sugar

These candied walnuts are delicious! So, so easy to make and take such a short amount of time to do. They make breakfast (or dessert!) pop with texture and add a beautiful caramel flavour. I had them on Apple Cake Annie’s Apple Spiced Porridge – the perfect combo. I will be making these candied walnuts again and again!
Thank you Steph!
So glad you’re enjoying them xx
