Speculaas Spice Mix Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon finely zested lemon rind
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground coriander
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ⅛ teaspoon ginger powder
- ⅛ teaspoon cardomom powder or cardamon powder
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a glass jar with a tight fitting lid, or airtight container
- Shake to combine
- Store at room temperature and use as required
Notes
- This homemade Speculaas Spice Mix will keep as long as the shelf life of the spices you've used.
- Multiply the quantities and make as Christmas gifts -perfect to use in my Speculaas Sugar Cookies and Gingerbread Truffles
