No Bake Mars Bar Slice

This No Bake Mars Bar Slice is made with just 4 ingredients and takes only 15 minutes to prepare. Made with chewy Mars Bars, crispy Rice Bubbles and topped with a luscious layer of milk chocolate, it's a classic Australian slice that's guaranteed to disappear fast.

Ingredients

  • 329 g Mars Bars (7 x 47g bars) chopped
  • 150 g Butter cubed
  • 140 g Rice Bubbles
  • 180 g Milk Chocolate

Instructions

  • Grease and line a 20cm x 20cm pan with baking paper
  • In a large size saucepan, melt the Mars bars and butter over low heat, stirring continually with a silicone spatula.
  • Use a balloon whisk to smooth and incorporate the mixture and make it smooth.
  • Add the Rice Bubbles to the saucepan and gently fold through, so that they are all coated.
  • Place mixture into prepared pan and smooth over.
  • Melt the milk chocolate by breaking into small pieces and placing in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Heat on high for 1 minute, then stir well
  • Continue to heat in microwave for 10 seconds at a time, stirring well in between. It should only take 2-3 bursts.
  • Pour melted chocolate over slice and spread by titlting the pan, or with an offset spatula
  • Refrigerate until set (approx 1 hour), then cut into squares

Notes

Feel free to cut into smaller pieces.  This recipe gives 16 VERY generous squares
