Lemon Donuts
- 125 g sugar
- 1 lemon juice and zest
- 85 g unsalted butter room temperature
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 300 g plain flour
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp bicarbonate soda
- ⅓ cup milk
- ⅓ cup buttermilk
Lemon Glaze
- 160 g pure icing sugar
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- ½ lemon juiced
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- yellow colouring optional
