- ½ cup tinned apple slices I recommend Ardmona apple slices
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup traditional rolled oats
- ½ tsp brown sugar
- ¼ tsp apple cake spice or a combination of nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice
Place the apple slices and egg into a small jug and whisk together with a fork
Add the oats, brown sugar and spices, then mix to combine
Swirl a few drops of water into a mug (to stop sticking), then tip the ingredients into the mug
Microwave on high for 90 seconds
Top with your favourite vanilla or plain yogurt and drizzle with a little bit of maple syrup
Mixing time is 30 seconds
Bake time is 90 seconds
